Quick answer

Who leads engineering at GenifySoft?

Founders stay accountable at the top. The Founder & CTO owns technology and architecture. The Co-Founder & Head of Engineering owns engineering delivery, squad health, and how onshore Sweden leadership and offshore engineering capacity work as one unit — with project managers, architects, and specialist roles under a clear hierarchy.

Current structure

How we deliver today

Founders sit at the top. The Founder & CTO owns technology and architecture. The Co-Founder & Head of Engineering owns engineering and delivery. Both lines meet in project management, then split into two engineering tracks: Senior Software Engineer, Team Lead, and Software Engineers. We assign project managers per project - larger programmes can have more than one PM.

Modern hierarchy

How we are scaling onshore and offshore

As the team grows across two shores, we are adding named specialist roles under the same founder line. CTO and Head of Engineering sit in parallel - technology on one side, engineering delivery on the other - then Solution Architect, QA / Automation, DevOps / Cloud, and UI/UX, with Team Leads and Senior Engineers as distinct layers. Leadership stays shared. Capacity can grow without changing who is accountable.

Responsibilities

What each modern role owns

Titles only help if the work is clear. Here is how the scaled hierarchy splits ownership on a GenifySoft project.

Company ownership

GenifySoft

GenifySoft sits at the top of the organization: client trust, delivery standards, and the onshore-offshore model as the company scales.

Technology & architecture

CTO

The CTO owns technical direction: stack choices, security, scalability, and architecture reviews so products can grow without rewrites.

Engineering & delivery

Head of Engineering

The Head of Engineering runs the engineering system: capacity, coding standards, sprint health, and how onshore and offshore squads work as one unit.

Delivery & client coordination

Project Manager

Project managers keep scope, timeline, and communication clear. We assign PMs per project - larger programmes can have more than one.

System design & integrations

Solution Architect

Solution Architects turn business goals into technical blueprints: APIs, data models, cloud topology, and integrations engineers can implement with confidence.

Squad ownership

Team Leads

Team leads own day-to-day execution inside a squad: unblocking engineers, protecting quality, and shipping something the client can use each sprint.

Core build & mentoring

Senior Software Engineers

Senior engineers lead complex features, review code, and mentor the team so implementation stays aligned with architecture.

Product implementation

Software Engineers

Software engineers build the product - web, mobile, APIs, and internal tools - with tests, clear pull requests, and regular demos.

Quality & regression safety

QA / Automation Engineers

QA and automation engineers design test strategy, catch regressions early, and keep release confidence high across onshore and offshore work.

Infrastructure & release

DevOps / Cloud Engineer

DevOps and cloud engineers own CI/CD, environments, observability, and secure deployments on Azure, AWS, or the stack that fits the product.

Experience & interface

UI/UX Designer

Designers research flows, prototype interactions, and hand off systems that engineers can implement without guesswork.

FAQ

Leadership & engineering FAQ

How GenifySoft structures CTO, engineering leadership, project managers, and onshore-offshore squads. More company answers are on the FAQ page.

Founders stay accountable at the top. The CTO owns technology and architecture; the Head of Engineering owns delivery, squad health, and how onshore and offshore teams work as one unit.

Client-facing leadership, architecture, and project ownership stay close to Sweden. Engineering, QA, and specialist capacity can scale offshore with the same git workflow, reviews, and sprint demos.

Yes. Project managers are assigned per engagement. Larger programmes can have more than one PM while architecture and engineering leadership stay shared across the company.

Solution Architects turn business goals into technical blueprints - APIs, data models, cloud topology, and integrations - so engineers can implement without guessing.

Yes. We staff dedicated squads under the same hierarchy: team leads, engineers, QA, and DevOps reporting through Head of Engineering, with a named PM for your project.

Open roles are listed on the Careers page. We hire engineers, leads, QA, DevOps, and designers who want to ship with a clear reporting line and high delivery standards.
